3 Sources Of Renewable Energy For Indonesia

about something serious about the limited energy in Indonesia and what kind of
renewable energy that can be conducted in Indonesia and what are the advantage
and disadvantage of those renewable energies. There are 3 sources of renewable
energy that very suitable for Indonesia based on my opinion,
Considering
that Indonesia is a country surrounded by volcanoes, geothermal is one of the
renewable energies that very reasonable for Indonesia. By utilizing the heat
near the volcanoes ground area and converted into steam to turn turbines, the
energy is believed very abundant and economical. The most obvious advantage of
geothermal is the energy does not cause pollution, environmentally friendly,
and it is inexhaustible. However, this geothermal energy is not used widely by
the government because of the high installation cost.

Indonesia is a country that receives sufficient sunlight, solar power can be
one of the alternative energies. Solar energy originates from radiation and
heat rays emitted by the sun which is processed in photovoltaic cells and
finally converted into electrical energy. Not only the government but all
society can also use this renewable energy do to its economical installation
cost. One other apparent advantage of solar is unlimited because always
provided by nature. Nevertheless, one other inherent disadvantage of solar
energy is can only operate for certain times of the day.
3. Wind Energy
The
wind is another alternative in renewable energy. Giant wind turbines must be
placed near the sea or on the top of hills. Wind turbines will be used to catch
the wind and then the energy is generated. The application of wind energy in
Indonesia has been carried out in several cities such as Yogjakarta. The
construction cost of wind turbines is rather available. However, wind turbines
have noisy sounds and disturb the surrounding environment.
Comprehend
that the world has limited energy, the idea come up to find renewable energy
sources. Utilize geothermal, solar, and wind are some examples of renewable
energy. However, awareness to use energy as needed is very important because by
saving the energy means keeping our earth for the next generation. So, Be wise
